Santiponce is the outer area of Seville where Italica, the Roman city, is located. Not far from Italica is a
Roman amphitheatre that seats 3,000 people. I don't have a lot that I can say about this place. It is quite large and had been extended a couple of times before it started its decline in about the 3th century A.D.
The place kept on being used as a marketplace and as a place where craftsmen set up their workshops.
